Our Story
"Where We Care For What's There."
It Started With a Word
Kadosh Nails didn't begin with a business plan. It began with God.
The word came quietly but clearly — vegan nail polish. As a licensed nail technician, the idea was unexpected. Whether a polish was vegan had never been the focus. But God's heart was already there — for healthier products, healthier lives, and beauty that doesn't compromise the body He created. So we listened. We researched. And we built.
The Name
The name came the same way — through a whisper.
The word Kadosh filled our hearts long before it became our brand. Holy. Sacred. Set apart. And we knew. This nail polish brand would be exactly that — set apart. Different by design. Unapologetically purposeful.
That is Kadosh Nails.
The Colors
Our Creative Director and Color Formulator, Cheryl, is a licensed nail technician and instructor with over 13 years of experience. She brings every shade to life with intention, expertise, and joy.
She tells it best:
"In grad school I had an assignment — 'if you could be anything and money wasn't an object, what job would you choose?' My response was, 'I would make colors for Crayola.' When that thought came back to me I chuckled. I don't make colors for Crayola. I make colors for the Lord. Equally beautiful. More satisfying."
Every color in the Kadosh Nails line is born from that place — creativity surrendered to purpose, beauty anchored in faith.
The Tagline
"Where We Care For What's There."
In nail care school, we learn everything — how to keep clients safe, how to apply extensions, how to give people the beautiful nails they desire. Acrylics, press-ons, gel enhancements — we learn it all.
But there's a question we don't ask enough.
When we remove the extensions — when we soak off the acrylic, when we take off the press-ons — what's left? What's underneath all those beautiful enhancements?
It's us. Our natural nails. That's what's there.
And we want to care for what's there.
The Word spoke to this directly. In 1 Corinthians 12, the scripture discusses the body — how every part matters, how the body cannot be just one thing. Beginning in verse 22:
"On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty." — 1 Corinthians 12:22 ESV
Think about your nail beds. Small. Easy to overlook. Probably not the first thing on your mind when you think about your body. But they matter more than we realize.
When we bend a natural nail — when we crack it, when we split it — it hurts. Like a paper cut. Because our nails and nail beds are important.
And did you know that your eponychium — that small place where your skin meets your nail bed — is actually a shield? God designed it to keep bacteria and fungi from entering your body. That tiny, seemingly insignificant part of you was created with purpose. Created to protect you.
Through this brand, we believe the Lord is saying something profound:
I care about you. All the way down to your nail beds.
That is where our tagline comes from. After the extensions — which are still beautiful — we care for you. We care for what's there. We care for what God made.
"Where We Care For What's There."
The Mission
We believe what goes on your body matters. We believe natural nails deserve care. And we believe a product can be clean, professional, and beautiful all at once.
That belief is in every bottle we make.
21-free. Faith-inspired. Set apart by design.
